Haste is a recurring spell in the Final Fantasy franchise which first appeared in the original game as a Black Magic spell. In games with Time Mages as a job it is one of the earliest spells of the Job. It is the first in a line of spells followed up by hasteja and hastega
When used, it increases the speed that the active time battle gauge recharges, making characters act faster and more frequently.
